According to a 2019 survey, Irish adults spend over €820 million on their pets each year. We often joke that our dog Miley has a much better life than we do and based on that colossal figure it sounds like we are not alone! But with a spend not far shy of 1 billion, it is essential that we spend as much of that domestically as we possibly can. It is estimated that over €4 billion was spent by Irish consumers on International online stores last year. My mission with this ‘Support Irish’ series is to showcase the best that Irish retail has to offer while educating consumers and making it simple and easy for you to support local businesses.
